This hotel is the dream child of Carlino Cinque who was passionately in love with this place and commissioned a villa on a promontory with breathtaking views. In the course of time- this dream grew as did the hotel. Today- it boasts 55 rooms- each with a private terrace and a wonderful sea view. The fine terracotta floors with ceramic decoration and the doors- adorned with frescoes and other marvels- enhance the interior. From the terrace- the view of Praiano- Positano- the coast and the rock formations of Capri are spectacular. A unique hotel of great charm. The property is closed for business during the year from November to March. AIRPORT: LEAVING -NAP- NAPLES AIRPORT FOLLOW THE SIGNS FOR SALERNO-REGGIO CALABRIA -A3- MOTORWAY WHICH YOU TAKE AS FAR AS THE CASTELLAMMARE DI STABIA. THERE YOU HAVE TO EXIT THE MOTORWAY AND FOLLOW THE SIGNS FOR -PENISOLA SORRENTINA- AND -SORRENTO-. A FEW MILES BEFORE SORRENTO YOU WILL HAVE TO TAKE A LEFT TURN FOR POSTITANO -IT IS INDICATED- AND AFTER A FEW MILES YOU WILL BE RIDING ON THE AMALFI COAST DRIVE. ONCE YOU REACH POSITANO YOU WILL HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE TOWN AND OUT AGAIN IN THE DIRECTION OF AMALFI. THE HOTEL IS LOCATED JUST 2 KILOMETRES OUTSIDE TO POSITANO. IT IS NOT VISIBLE FROM THE ROAD, BUT YOU WILL SEE A LITTLE CHURCH TO THE RIGHT OF THE ROAD AND A PARKING LOT - THIS IS WHERE YOU HAVE TO STOP. OUR ATTENDANTS WILL TAKE CARE OF THE CAR AND LUGGAGE.
