Super Potato´s concept melds Eastern and Western influences of tradition and innovation using nature as a guideline. Japanese and Chinese natural stone, light Myanmar oak, dark maple wood, water, and plenty of natural light are key elements throughout the hotel. The mood within the hotel changes constantly depending on the time of day, making for an endlessly surprising experience at every turn. The 184-room Park Hyatt Seoul seamlessly communicates its vision of a minimalist yet warm setting for guests and locals alike, while adding a unique design property to the exclusive Park Hyatt collection. The Park Hyatt Seoul experience begins at the top - the 24th floor. Stepping off the elevator, guests are greeted by a reception area made of Japanese Aji Stone, and a large rectangular lounge area with orange leather chairs, Myanmar oak tables, and floor-to-ceiling windows to the left. At the end of the Lobby Lounge, there is a direct view of the 17 metre indoor heated pool through a glass wall, which continues past to a view of the city through the pool´s outer glass wall. The sky lobby is a wonderful example of the design concept´s element of surprise because it redefines a “traditional“ hotel layout by placing areas that normally do not go together right next to each other. Two large abstract paintings in shades of pink and orange hang by the reception and the Lounge providing a splash of colour. The dramatic wraparound view of Seoul makes the lobby the perfect setting for relaxing and or enjoying cocktails and light refreshments with friends while admiring the city below. Park Hyatt Seoul´s 185 guestrooms include one Presidential Suite, two Diplomatic Suites and 35 Park Suites. The 52 square metre Park Deluxe Rooms are the largest guestrooms in the city. In order for in-house guests to enjoy more private spaces, Park Hyatt Seoul has separate elevators only available for guestroom floors and has not more than ten rooms per floor. All guestrooms and suites are designed in a contemporary style residence with 3.4 metre floor-to-ceiling windows, simple, neutral tones and exquisite artistic elements.
