The luxury hotel in the scenic Val Fex valley enjoys a superb location between the Silvaplana Lake and Lake Sils and overlooks the small community of Sils. The ski lift of Sils Maria and the bathing beaches can be easily reached on foot.
Encircled by snow-capped mountains and coniferous trees, the Hotel Waldhaus charms with its delightful scenery and opulent grandeur. The individually designed rooms offer a blend of sleek modernity and warm elegance and come with modern spoils such as free Wi-Fi. On the beautiful terrace or in the panoramic pool, guests can enjoy the view of nature and unwind in a delightful atmosphere.
The hotel operates a shuttle service to the centre of the village (and in winter, of course, to the skiing area as well) and offers all its guests free passes for the public buses linking Sils-Maria to St. Moritz, Pontresina and other neighbouring villages. Our summer and fall rates include a bus pass with even wider validity, as well as the free use of all cable cars and lifts in the region!

Location & directions
Arriving by car
Take freeway from Zurich past CHUR and follow the signs for St. Moritz and the Julier Pass. After the pass, do not turn left (St. Moritz), but right (“Maloja”). Driving time from Zurich: approx. 3 hours.
ALTERNATE ROUTE to avoid the pass: at Landquart just before Chur, turn left to KLOSTERS and the VEREINA tunnel (car shuttle by train), tel. +41 81 288 37 37 After the tunnel, it’s 55 km to Sils.
Arriving by public transportation
During the day and until 8.30 p.m. hourly trains between Zurich main station and St. Moritz, travel time: 3 ½ to 4 hours.
