The hotel is located in a historic mill village in Birgel. All buildings in the area are sights by themselves, for example the three mills, the bakery, the old forge and the two galleries, where events are organised regularly.

The hotel Historische Wassermühle consists of four half-timbered houses and a mill hotel. The cosy apartments and double rooms are lovingly integrated into the historic style of the watermill and offer upscale comfort.
