The industrial towns of Niederwinkling and Bogen are only 5-10 minutes away, the hiking trails start in the village, and it is only 12 kilometres to St. Englmar to the Waldwipfelweg. Numerous leisure parks are in the immediate vicinity.

The Hotel Schwarzacher Hof is a family-run hotel in Schwarzach. The house has a cosy and historical style from the 16th century, whereby the hotel was lovingly and modernly renovated in 2002 with a lot of effort, so that one does not have to do without modern comfort.
