The Karl Eberth Haus Steingaden is located south of the centre. There, you´ll find the Welfenmünster basilica, which is a particularly beautiful attraction in the Pfaffenwinkel region. The B17 will take you straight to Füssen (20 km) and towards Austria. On the way there, you´ll pass Forggensee lake, which is a perfect place to relax.
