The hotel is situated in Bad Zwesten, in the middle of the Kellerwald Nature Park on Lake Eder. It is an ideal starting point for all kinds of activities such as hiking and cycling tours, and Nordic walking.

The country hotel Kern is the first themed hotel in Hesse. It has 48 rooms, all arranged with different themes. Guests will enjoy the hotel´s wellness and beauty studios. Prices include the use of the indoor pool, sauna and solarium. The in-house restaurant serves inventive dishes. Rooms are available for functions for up to 100 guests.
