The hotel is located in the monastery district, close to the World Heritage Abbey Library and is suitable for business and short city trips alike.
The the old town sights and exhibition center are within walking distance. Appenzell and the Lake of Constance are accessible by train or car.
The Hotel Vadian consists of two historic buildings, the city hotel from 1904 and the annex, which was built in the 16th century. The studios are located 100 m outside the hotel premises in an apartment building. Our hotel rooms meet the requirements of today´s traveler in a stylish atmosphere.
The hotel is open all year round.

Arriving by car
Motorway A1 to exit St. Gallen-Kreuzbleiche. Take the exit. Keep right and turn left into Davidstrasse. Drive straight across the intersection to the end of Gartenstrasse. Turn right and drive to the intersection, then turn left into Gallusstrasse. The hotel is the third house on the left. You can leave the car in front of the hotel for about 15 minutes.
Arriving by public transportation
Central train station (Hauptbahnhof St. Gallen), then take Bus No. 11 from the
railwaystation to the bus stop Einstein or go by foot (approx. 5-7 minutes).
